After teasing us with her infectious COLORS performance back in March, Doja Cat is giving the girls what they’ve been asking for. The video “Juicy,” now a remix with Tyga, shows the rapper having fun with fruit-themed imagery, wearing everything from cherry headbands to watermelon catsuits. The finished product, directed by Jack Begert, stays true to the 23-year-old’s brand of being very playful and slightly unconventional. At one point, Doja even appears to be cut up as a watermelon.
The “Juicy” video comes one month after she released her ethereal-sounding track “u w u” on Soundcloud. “Juicy” originally appearing on her 2018 debut album, Amala, was recently re-released as a deluxe version earlier this year.
The deluxe also includes some of the rapper’s other hits including “Moo!” and “Tia Tamera” featuring Rico Nasty.
