Staasia Daniels is an emerging R&B singer-songwriter from Toronto, who first appeared on the scene in 2011. She is a sultry, R&B powerhouse with the voice to match. Staasia’s take on R&B touches on the dreamy and steamy sides of the genre, which leaves the listener wanting more. Some of her most popular songs include Peanut Butter, Nowhere, and the catchy single Voicemail. Named after one of Scarborough’s busiest intersections, Kennedy Rd. is another notable Toronto R&B native that you should add to your playlist. Known for her singles “Falling” and “King of Hearts”, which amassed hundreds of thousands of streams on Spotify, her sound is the perfect blend of R&B-soul. The singer recently released a 7-minute EP titled Summer Drive Pt 1, which includes the mellow and slow tempo tracks “Vibration” and “Get2KnowMe”.
